COMMENT: Hi, The IT program in Berkerley indeed focus more on Psychology or System. It's for people who have Psychology or programming background. Most of the faculty members at UGA are really good. You should check their background and expertise on the program's web site and then contact the one who has similar research interests as you do. As for the assistantship, you can try the assistantships in LPSL lab. UGA does not offer TA for international students (unless English is their native language). Discuss with your advisor to see if he/she has any RA opportunities. I'm not sure about the elementary eduaction in UGA. However you can contact people in the student association or church.
